Girls Families Get Together Friday the 31st Mayb

23 May 2019 by Paul Modra

Hi all

Friday the 31st of May – Round 7

We will be training at EFC.

I would like to take this opportunity to have a girl’s family night.

The night would look like this.

4.00 – 5.00
AUSKICK – I would like to get as many girls to come out and be involved in AUSKICK on this night, just as our girls look up to the SANFLW and AFLW girls, so to the younger girls look up to our under 14 and 16 girls and just as the SANFLW and AFLW girls get a lot out of coming out to our trainings I think our girls would also get a lot out of helping with AUSKICK training.

5.30 to 6.30
Under 14 and 16 girls training session

6.30 to 7.10
Under 14 and 16 girls awards presentation and meal

7.10 – 8.30
Watch the Under12 girls game and maybe a beer or 2

The social aspect of being a part of a football team and a broader girls program is very important it build friendships amongst our girls and importantly amongst our families.
The way our families and girls interact, no one would think that we are an amalgamated football program, but the fact that we are sometimes makes it logistically difficult to have the level of non-football interaction that we would like.

I am really looking forward to being able to a catch up with all of our families without the usual football commitments.

Cheers
