Welcome to the TG’s 2020 Football Season.

I hope that you had a great holiday and the first week back at school wasn’t too painful.

The 2020 season is shaping up as to be our best one yet, with our player numbers looking very strong.
I am very pleased to announce that David Fedele and Brandon McNicol are joining the coaching team, they will very valuable additions.
We are also very fortunate to have the Seniors Women’s coaching team, Peter McCorquodale and Annette Alvey, supporting us.

I will not bombard you with too much information right now but simply explain the next month.

Pre Season Training

Our pre-season training commences this week.
Our focus for February will be to work on our skills, game sense and having fun.
It also a great opportunity to bring along friends and introduce them to the TG’s family.

Our training sessions will be as follows:

Wednesday’s 6.30pm (to avoid the heat) at Pasadena High School
Cnr of Daws Road and Goodwood Road

Sunday’s 10.30 at Edwardstown Football Club Oval

ParkRun 2020

Park Run is a free, organised event held every Saturday morning all over the world.

We will continue in 2020 to do the 5km Seacliff Esplanade ParkRun, we meet in front of the Brighton/Seacliff Yacht Club from 7.45am.

Participants simply register online and turn up with the barcode that gets emailed to you.
(If you don’t bring your Barcode you can still run but times won’t be recorded)
Edwardstown FC is a registered ParkRun Club so when you register online select the club.

This is open to all TG players and the club would love for parents, family and friends to join in.
ParkRun also presents an opportunity to invite new people into the TG family.
We encourage everyone to wear TG training singlets etc.
Bring a hat water bottle and wear sunscreen.
